Mathematical Literacy with Islamic Nuances Based on Prospective Mathematics Teachers’ Personality

Mathematical literacy is crucial to understand phenomena and good decision-making in real life. This study aims describe aspects of Islamic nuanced mathematical prospective teachers, which were viewed from the four personalities Keirsey. qualitative descriptive research used a questionnaire MTBI personality types test with nuances. The subjects are students 7th semester mathematics education program at an university Kediri City, East Java, Indonesia. findings showed that rational idealist could fulfill "formulating" indicator, but not guardian artisan subjects. They able translate problems into form. indicators "employing" "interpreting" show can determine better strategies than artisan, guardian, types. That is, it necessary integrate interconnections between learning programs related elements. A more in-depth portrait needed different situations teachers universities.
